Project Description

This facility, formerly known as Planet Hollywood Westgate Tower, consists of the construction of a high-rise fractional ownership condominium tower with 51 floors, 1,216 rooms and 1,506,114 square feet. The building design consists of reinforced concrete columns and decks to a height exceeding 500 feet. The exterior skin is glass curtain wall. The low-rise has 296,295 square feet of meeting rooms, back-of- house, retail, pool deck and cabanas. The elevated floor slab is post tensioned concrete. The typical floor-to-floor height is 9’-4” with columns center to center spacing of 30’x30’. There are 17 passenger and six service elevators with two stair towers at both ends of the building.

With close coordination between the Owner, Westgate Development, based out of Orlando, Florida and the Tutor Perini team on the ground in Las Vegas, this project had a very smooth transition from the design document stage to construction. The design team, which is also based out of Florida, has architects on-site to make immediate decisions, and they have helped drive this project to where it is today. This project was finish this project on time and within budget.
